Sir John Everett Millais, 1st Baronet, (8 June 1829 – 13 August 1896) was an English painter. He was one of the founders of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, and painted several of their most famous works. By the time has was 30 he had changed to become a portrait painter of famous people.
