Indie (Honley resident for over 40 years) is a digital artist and published author creating unique abstract art and video whose works are characterised by economy of technique, a preoccupation with shapes, space and colour, influenced by contemporary art, impressionism, cubism, expressionism, futurism and surrealism. Art by Indie is created using an iPad and digital software including Sketches Pro, Brushes Redux and Pixelmator Pro. Indie’s collection of paintings and publications may be viewed and purchased on his interactive online gallery. Indie is a member of the Huddersfield Art Society. Indie has selected a collection of digitally created artworks that will physically displayed at the venue.
