黑田孝高，通稱黑田官兵衛，為豊臣秀吉的心腹，活躍於軍略、外交等工作。他與竹中重治（半兵衛）是襄贊秀吉取得天下的參謀雙璧，後世並稱為「兩兵衛」。其晚年被分封到九州的福岡，建立今日福岡的基礎。
此為其傳世之盔甲，其特色為戴著類似碗型的頭盔。
